This quote, in so many words, is exactly why I am an RDA at Financial Growth Partners. I grew up in a family that has been in the industry successfully for over 20 years. Between my parents' success and my older brother's hot start, you would think I would have been quick to follow suit. That couldn't have been farther from the truth. I felt and witnessed how slimy financial services could be, and I swore to myself I'd rely on honest work to make a living, as my late grandfather had taught me.
It wasn't until I met Will Crossan and Matt Vahue that I considered following in the family trade. They showed me, through FGP's vision, that if I truly believed the industry is as dark and dim as it is. It is actually my responsibility to use my social skills and drive to serve my community well.
I'm most comfortable serving you families and young professionals, but I wouldn't be embodying the mission if i didn't offer my help all walks of life. I am based in the panhandle of the beautiful state of West Virginia, but I spend ample time serving the community I grew up in, Annapolis, MD.
