Otis recently joined FGP as a Relationship Development Associate, bringing a unique blend of strategic leadership and analytical specialist cultivated over a distinguished 25-year career as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army. Retiring in the fall of 2024, Otis transitioned into the financial industry in the summer of 2025, embracing a new mission: to foster an environment of compassion and trust through financial education and relationships.

Driven by a genuine commitment to client welfare, Otis focuses on educating and assisting Black and brown families, as well as medical professionals across all disciplines.

This systemic inequality leaves many Black and brown households with fewer opportunities for economic mobility. My practice is dedicated to directly addressing this reality by providing education and strategic guidance that empowers these clients to build financial net worth, achieve greater confidence, and create lasting generational sustainability."

Otis is passionate about creating lasting, positive change within his clientele, ensuring every client knows that he genuinely cares about their welfare and wants to see them thrive.
Proficiency & Education
The skills honed in military leadership—risk management and mitigation, financial and data analysis, decision support, process optimization, and strategic planning—directly translate to empowering clients in their financial journey.
Otis's academic credentials include a Graduate Degree in Public Safety from Capella University (2014) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Homeland Security from the University of Maryland (2012). Since making the career pivot, his personal goal is to continuously expand his knowledge base, gain greater confidence, and become a trusted member of the firm. He was drawn to FGP because its values and vision for the future aligned perfectly with his renewed professional purpose.
Beyond the Office
Otis hails from Waldorf, MD, and believes in discipline and continuous improvement, both professionally and personally. When he isn’t helping families plan their futures, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and children. He also enjoys indulging his passions for cinema and music, and maintains a rigorous commitment to bodybuilding and strength training.
