The Loss of a Father & Birth of a Daughter - Alexander Walter's Why Part I

The profound impact of losing his father to cancer ignited an unwavering determination within Alexander to compassionately connect with and support others. He shared that deep sense of purpose and compassion in his work as a risk manager, cybersecurity specialist, and process improvement champion for Department of Defense healthcare. However, it was not until the birth of his daughter, who was born with Down Syndrome and required a life-saving heart surgery, that Alexander truly understood the profound opportunity to extend his knowledge and experiences beyond the confines of corporate and government realms and directly impact families.

Pam Gilmour from our Hunt Valley office had a little FGP help with the Baltimore Walk to End Alzheimer's. Pam and team raised nearly $12,000 for Alzheimer's research.

The collaborative, week-long meeting was held at our Reston, Va., office and included BDAs from our Richmond, Va., Chevy Chase, Md., and Hunt Valley, Md. offices.
