I'm a Relationship Development Associate with Financial Growth Partners, based out of our Charlottesville office and living in the heart of Staunton, Virginia.

With a strong belief in the power of financial education, I’m committed to helping motivated individuals, families, and small business owners take control of their finances and build strategies that align with their values and long-term goals. My approach is rooted in empathy, clarity, and trust, making it easier for people to feel seen, heard, and confident in their financial decisions.

I joined FGP because I wanted to be part of something bigger than myself, a team that truly supports both financial professionals and clients. My mission is to give back to my community by guiding others toward greater financial stability, independence, and confidence.

I’m especially passionate about working with immigrants, first-generation professionals, and anyone who’s ready to rewrite their financial story. I bring a unique lens to my work through my own experiences as a former newcomer to the U.S., and I strive to create a safe space where people can ask questions, feel empowered, and take the steps they need toward a better future.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me traveling with my husband, enjoying quality time outdoors, or diving into topics like psychology, spirituality, and personal development. These interests keep me grounded and help me show up as my full self, for my clients and for my community.

I’m Tyler Teass, a financial representative based in the Charlottesville office. As a grauate of UVA, I am thrilled to be able to support the local area and beyond.

Before joining FGP, I had a long career within the hospitality industry, doing everything from running a Michelin-star restaurant to operating my own private chef business. I love connecting with passionate individuals, young families, and small business owners to help uncover and understand their motivations around their goals, dreams, and future through the lens of financial services.

Ultimately, I want to be a resource for positivity, knowledge, and connection to break through stigmas and difficult conversations around finances.

When I'm not working, I love spending time with my wife and 3 kids. If there's any time left over, I enjoy fly fishing, playing guitar, and enjoying our beautiful area.
