Founder and President

As the founder and president of NestEgg Advisors, I believe that sound financial advice is about having a plan that is customized to reflect your life’s goals. Over the past 30 years, I have created a practice dedicated to helping clients achieve their aspirations by providing tailored solutions to meet their needs. The firm is built not only on a foundation of integrity, but trust— we say what we do and we do what we say. We are accountable to our clients and serve as fiduciaries because doing what is right for you is mutually beneficial in the long run.

In addition to my professional roles, I’m a proud grandparent who has realized that grandchildren are often ignored or shortchanged in the financial planning process. As such, I’ve developed a specialty in helping grandparents teach their grandchildren important, life-long financial lessons in a fun and engaging way. Together, we work to fund your grandchildren’s education using creative, tax-advantaged and aid-efficient strategies. Additionally, we’ll identify common mistakes to help ensure that grandchildren are securely provided for in legacy planning according to the grandparent’s wishes.

I strongly believe in promoting financial literacy and act as a leading financial educator having conducted over 300 workshops, seminars and webinars at local colleges, adult education programs and public libraries. My goal is to help individuals build and preserve their nest egg, achieve a financially secure retirement, and take care of the ones they love through education, empowerment and self-assurance. If I can help clients feel more informed and make effective financial decisions, I believe I’ve done my job.

In 1995, I earned the esteemed professional designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, widely recognized as the gold standard in the financial services industry. I also hold the Chartered Financial Consultant™ and Certified Long-Term Care Consultant professional designations. And, along with my College for Financial Planning education, I hold an MBA degree from St. John’s University.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my grandchildren. I’m also an enthusiastic cyclist and enjoy “playing” the piano.
