Thomas Matia joined Ashford Advisors as a Financial Representative in 2011. A native of Atlanta, he continues to call the city home, where he lives with his wife, Malissa, and their daughter, Scarlett.
Thomas earned his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Georgia State University before continuing his education at the University of Georgia, where he received his Juris Doctor. Introduced to Ashford Advisors by his father—who also inspired his career path—Thomas has built his practice around helping individuals and businesses protect their financial futures. He specializes in providing Disability Insurance solutions for professionals in the medical and dental fields and assisting businesses with a range of financial strategies.
Recognized by Guardian for his success and dedication, Thomas is a proud recipient of the Guardian Disability Inner Circle Award. Outside of work, he enjoys playing tennis, reading, spending time on the water, and perfecting his skills in the kitchen.
