Thomas Matia became a Financial Representative for Ashford Advisors in 2011.
He is a native of Atlanta and still calls Atlanta home with his wife, Malissa and his daughter, Scarlett. Thomas attended college at Georgia State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and then continued his education earning a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia.
Thomas’ father was the person that introduced him to Ashford Advisors and recruited him to join the firm. He focuses on providing Disability Insurance solutions to individuals in both the medical and dental professions along with assisting businesses with their financial needs. Thomas takes pride in helping clients make decisions about their future based on his knowledge and experience as an advisor. He has been recognized by Guardian for his accomplishments by earning Guardian’s Disability Inner Circle award.
In his spare time Thomas enjoys playing tennis, reading, spending time on the water, and he considers himself to be an excellent cook.
