Stephen Horn joined Ashford Advisors in May of 2022, after graduating from the University of Georgia with a double major in Finance and Marketing. Stephen attributes his desire to work in the financial industry to his mother’s influence and encouragement over the years. As a business owner herself, Stephen’s mother taught him that financial independence is extremely important.
Stephen was born and raised in Georgia, and currently lives in Alpharetta. He attended Northview High School and was active in the marching band. He proudly shares, as he should, that he was a part of Boy Scouts of America in middle and high school, earning one of the highest rankings as an Eagle Scout in 2017.
Stephen is no stranger to hard work. He previously worked at Lowes as a hardware associate, and as a package handler for FedEx, as well as a dining hall student-worker while in college.
Stephen’s philosophy is simple, for he notes that he “desires knowledge on how to manage finances, because of its importance and if he can spread that knowledge to others and assist them with their finances, then that’s a good thing.”

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys playing video games and other board games, such as Catan and Monopoly, etc. He also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons with his friends as well as rock climbing and hiking.
