Shane Stromei

Shane Stromei joined Ashford Advisors in 2023 with over 24 years’ experience.  He is a member of the Ashford Leadership team and oversees the Tennessee Valley region as an Associate Principal Owner and Financial Advisor. 

Shane’s career in financial services began in 2000 with New York Life in Albuquerque New Mexico.  In 2003 Shane was promoted to Partner and followed his mentor to Nashville TN to take over an office and new territory.  In 2011, after 8 years in the Nashville office, Shane was promoted to Managing Partner of the TN Valley which included Huntsville AL, Florence AL, and Chattanooga TN where he had locations in all 3 cities.  Under Shane's leadership he took the smallest territory in the company with 10 Agents and turned it into 3 locations with over 60 Advisors.  

Shane is originally from New Mexico where he grew up in the Albuquerque area as well as the Southern part of the state where he lived on a working cattle ranch.  He attended the University of New Mexico as a student athlete and participated in Men's Swimming and Men's Volleyball.  He graduated UNM with a double major in Political Science and Spanish. 

Shane & his wife, Katie met in Nashville and married in 2008.  They are the parents of 2 children, Isabella and Soren.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Madison Academy and is also the Youth Soccer Director.  The Stromei's are very active in their church where Shane serves as a Deacon.  Katie is a pharmacist at Huntsville Hospital.
