Sarah Cohan is a Financial Representative with Ashford Advisors, driven by a deep respect for legacy, resilience, and long-term stability. Inspired by her father, a longtime agency owner with a robust book of business, Sarah chose a career in financial services to honor that foundation while building something enduring for her own family and future generations.
Before joining Ashford Advisors, Sarah built a diverse professional background that blends strategic thinking, operations leadership, and human-centered problem solving. Most recently, she spent three years managing operations for Leah’s Kitchen Catering, a family-owned business where she served as Kitchen Manager. In this role, she oversaw daily operations and long-term planning, secured new contracts, established logistics best practices, and maintained the company’s book of business. Her leadership contributed directly to business growth and long-term client retention, including securing a five-year contract with a major professional sports organization.
Prior to that, Sarah worked for three years as a Technology Consultant specializing in UX research and strategy at CGI Technology. There, she partnered with clients across diverse industries to support software implementations and optimize existing technology ecosystems. Known for her strengths in data analysis and user-driven insights, Sarah led high-impact workshops, contributed to major contract wins, and created her department’s first accessibility guide—now foundational to UX projects across the business unit. She also championed collaboration between UX and CX teams and supported community initiatives benefiting the Ronald McDonald House.
Sarah brings this blend of analytical discipline and empathy into her work with clients today. Her approach is shaped not only by her professional experience, but also by pivotal life moments that reinforced the importance of compassion, adaptability, and perspective. Having served as a caretaker for her father during his illness and later stepping in to support a family-run business after the sudden loss of her father-in-law, Sarah understands firsthand how quickly life can change and how vital thoughtful planning and trusted guidance can be during those moments.
Outside of work, Sarah is a former Division I collegiate soccer player and an avid supporter of Atlanta United, Manchester City, and Atlanta’s new NWSL team. She is a self-declared foodie who founded a dinner club celebrating the diversity of Buford Highway’s restaurant scene and loves cooking and baking for others. Sarah and her family enjoy hiking local trails, exploring the Appalachian Trail, traveling to music festivals, and discovering new destination. Her favorites include Alaska, where she got engaged, and Scotland’s Isle of Skye. She also shares her home with three beloved pets: an Australian Shepherd and two cats.
