Paul Cheek serves the Ashford Advisors Memphis, TN office as one of the firm’s Managing Directors. His leadership role includes working with clients and helping grow the firm through hiring and mentoring new associates. In this role he guides his clients to feel confident in all aspects of their financial lives, helping them work towards achieving their financial objectives and protecting their families.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Professional Studies from the University of Memphis and is a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served as a Paramedic for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Paul’s combined experience as a business owner and successful financial professional allows him to bring insights to his clients to help them achieve financial confidence.
Paul’s favorite quote comes from Winston Churchill, “You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.” Thus, supporting the philosophy of Paul’s greatest influencer, his father, who was someone that never gave up, and was inspirational in Paul’s spiritual development.
Paul and his wife, Tanya reside in Memphis, TN. with their three children, Noah, and a set of Boy-Girl twins: Eli and Aniston. For over a decade, Paul has been very active in his church and has been a basketball coach in the Greater Memphis Community where he serves and leads youth to the love of Christ through sports. When he finds free time, he enjoys playing golf and going to the Memphis Tiger games.
