Michael Williams joined Ashford Advisors in 2023 because he was drawn to the firm’s team approach and overall philosophy. As a financial representative, he enjoys providing his clients tools and strategies to help them create a stronger and more confident financial future.
Prior to joining Ashford, Michael worked with TransAmerica in tax accounting. Additionally, he worked in the hospitality industry as a Finance Director for hotels for over 15 years. His experience in finance and tax accounting greatly influenced his decision to become a financial representative.
Originally from Homestead, Florida, Michael moved to Charleston, South Carolina to attend Charleston Southern University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Info Systems with an emphasis in Economics and Accounting. Michael has lived in Atlanta, Georgia since 2006.
Michael and his wife, Catherine, live in Atlanta, where they are active members of their church and enjoy spending time with their daughter, Elise. They attend Mars Hill Community Church and are members of Mt. Paran Central. He and his wife enjoy playing tennis and vacationing in Stuart, Florida and Mexico.
