Matt Hudnall has been providing financial services to his clients since 2012. He, along with his brother, Chris Hudnall, joined Ashford Advisors in 2021 opening Hudnall Wealth offices in both Shreveport and Dallas. Matt is an experienced advisor with a history of success in the profession. Matt served with the 1st and 3rd Infantry Divisions as a combat medic in Kosovo and Iraq, which he credits with providing him the necessary discipline, focus, and skill to translate his goals into success.
Matt and his team specialize in working with business owners in the areas of business continuation, succession planning, key employee retention, retirement planning, tax strategies and investment management. He also has a passion for working with physicians and medical professionals. His wife, Ellie, is a practicing physician, which gives him firsthand knowledge of the unique financial challenges faced by doctors and their families.
Matt and his wife, Ellie, live in Shreveport with their daughter, Rae, and son, Rhett, and the family dogs, Remy and Rocco. Matt loves attending college football games, exercising, fly fishing, hiking, reading a good book with a glass of red wine, and spending time with his family and friends. Matt is active in his community, where he is involved in several charities and organizations, including the Shreveport Club and Champions for Holy Angels. He and his family attend St. Mark’s Cathedral Church.
