Margaret Burdette joined the Ashford Advisors team in 2021, after a 10-year career managing four cosmetology salons. Due to the 2020 Covid pandemic, Margaret quicky realized she needed to make a career change, and as fate stepped in, she found her second calling at Ashford, as a Client Relations Specialist to, Andrew Matthieson - one of Ashford’s Top Leaders Club advisors. The administrative skills Margaret gained in her first career, equipped her with the skillset needed to be an asset to the Ashford team.
As a Client Relations Specialist, she is responsible for new business processing, ongoing services for existing policies and accounts, scheduling, investment, and client on boarding as well as underwriting.
Margaret holds a degree in Interior Design from Athens Technical college in Athens, Georgia, of which she continues to oversee interior design jobs, as commissioned. Having lived in Athens Georgia her entire life, she is proudly a self-proclaimed Dawgs fan!
In her spare time, Margaret is a party planner. She helps manage the TaylorMade hospitality house at the Masters Tournament each year. She also owns and operates her own jewelry company. Additionally, Margaret is a talented painter, who has had success marketing and selling her art.
