Lisa Arnold is a seasoned financial advisor with over a decade of experience in the industry. As a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) with an MBA, Lisa brings a wealth of experience to her clients' financial planning needs.
Recognizing the limitations of traditional financial planning, Lisa goes beyond spreadsheets to incorporate behavioral finance and human emotions into the planning process. She helps clients understand how their natural wiring, learned financial experiences, and emotions impact their decision-making, ensuring that financial plans don’t just work on paper, but hold up under the day-to-day pressure of real life.
With a background as a lifelong competitive swimmer, Lisa brings a competitive spirit and unwavering focus to financial planning, much like an athletic coach guiding their athletes to success. She views herself as a financial coach, empowering clients to achieve their financial goals through strategic planning and disciplined execution.
This unique approach to financial advising has impacted clients and led to industry accolades, including being a 3-time Five Star Wealth Manager award winner and a repeat recipient of NAIFA-Atlanta's Top Female Advisors award from 2015 to 2023.
Born and raised just south of Denver, Colorado, Lisa moved to Georgia to attend The University of Georgia, where she excelled both in academics and athletics. As a standout student-athlete, Lisa was designated as the Southeastern Conference Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2009 and 2010. She was also a 4-time Academic All-American and received the prestigious Joel Eaves Scholar-Athlete award in 2010, given to the female athlete with the highest-grade point average.
In the pool, Lisa was an NCAA National Champion in the 200-medley relay in 2009, setting the UGA swimming and diving team record. In 2010, she was voted team captain and led the team to an SEC Championship.
Off the pool deck, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael, whom she met on The University of Georgia Swim Team and married in 2013. Together, they reside in Smyrna, GA, with their three amazing boys, Decker, Zander, and Maverick. Lisa and her family are active members of Cumberland Community Church, where she is dedicated to serving both her community and her church family.
