Lesly Gregory joined the Elie Engler Team of Ashford Advisors as their Operations and Marketing Manager, bringing with her more than two decades of experience in marketing communications and content development. With a passion for helping people, Lesly was drawn to the financial services industry as an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Lesly earned her Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Boston University. Before joining Ashford Advisors, she spent 23 years supporting organizations through strategic communication, content creation, and project management. Fifteen of those years were with Pearson’s higher education publishing division, where she held several roles ranging from coordinator to marketing manager and was twice recognized as a Top Performer Award recipient. Following her time at Pearson, Lesly launched a successful freelance career as a content creator and reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Now based in Marietta, Georgia, where she has lived for nine years, Lesly enjoys being an active member of both her community and her congregation. She serves as the Vice President of Education at Temple Beth Tikvah in Roswell and sits on the Board of Trustees, supporting daily operations and event planning. She also volunteers extensively at her children’s schools — serving as PTSA Secretary and Communications Chair at Pope High School, a member-at-large for the Pope Theater Boosters, and Vice Chair of the Camp Council for 6 Points Creative Arts Academy.
An avid reader, Lesly facilitates two book clubs and loves sharing thoughtful discussions about literature. When she’s not reading, she enjoys roller skating, traveling with her family, and relaxing at home on her screened-in porch.
Lesly and her husband, Trey, have been married for 17 years and are the proud parents of two children — Olivia and Myles — along with their four beloved cats: Lupin, Rune, Helix, and Tuxito.
Honest, positive, and people-oriented, Lesly approaches life and work with authenticity and enthusiasm. She finds joy in connecting with others, sharing stories, and always learning something new—especially if the topic is books.
