Kristen Holifield joined Ashford Advisors in the Jackson, Mississippi office in January 2024 as a Financial Representative. Kristen is no stranger to service, for in her former role as a banker, she often assisted her customers with monetary decisions, thus prompting her to delve deeper into the financial services industry, and now she wants to bring those experiences to her clients by helping them with their financial choices.
She is a Liberty University, Lynchburg Virginia graduate who worked full time while raising her two young children, Zach and Ashton and fostering a foreign exchange student. Kristen is married to her high school sweetheart, Jonathan and they reside in Kilmichael, Mississippi.
Her favorite quote comes from Tillie Cole, “The semicolon is just a pause, not the end of the sentence.” Kristen explained that “In life there are times when you feel like giving up, and you must remember that life is going to continue, regardless of the circumstances you find yourself in. Trust in God, understand that the pauses happen for a reason, and just keep going.” Despite weathering a severe family crisis in 2015, Kristen and her family pulled together to make it through. She shared, “this was a turning point that caused us all to see exactly what the strength of God truly looks like.”
Kristen and her family along with their beloved Boykin Spaniel, Knox love to travel in their camper to various locations, one of their favorites being Destin, Florida. They often rent a pontoon and spend the day out in the bay just chilling on Crab Island.
The family is very involved in missions and Kristen enjoys working out at the gym to train for St. Jude runs. They are especially proud to cheer on the Mississippi State Bulldogs!
