Jessica Callihan joined Ashford Advisors in October 2023 as an Administrative Assistant and Marketing Coordinator. She serves as an assistant to Daniel Taylor CFP®, CLU®, ChFC® in our Alpharetta office and works part-time with the marketing team.
Prior to joining Ashford, Jessica enjoyed a twenty-two-year career in education. She previously taught a variety of grades ranging from elementary to high school special education. In addition, she served as an Instructional Facilitator, designing and providing professional development to special education teachers and acting as a coach/mentor for the district.
Educationally, Jessica spent four years in Japan, serving in the United States Air Force, right after graduating high school as an administrative specialist. Subsequently, she attended college at Radford University in Virginia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Special Education.
Jessica notes her greatest achievement in life has been raising two fine young men; Caleb and Macoy who are both currently attending The University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. Additionally, she is proud of her years in education, working with students with disabilities. She loved helping her pupils build confidence in themselves and supporting them as they grew as students. As a result, one of the schools she worked at earned the honor of being selected as a Blue Ribbon School, due in large part to the growth of the students with special needs.
Jessica and her husband, Chad currently reside in Greenville South Carolina. She and her family really enjoy spending time together golfing, hiking, paddleboarding, playing pickleball or volleyball and traveling.
