Chintan Mehta joined Ashford Advisors in August 2024 as a Financial Advisor in the Charlotte, North Carolina office, with a strong desire to make a positive impact in the financial lives of his clients and help them achieve their life goals. He especially supports Ashford’s holistic approach to the financial planning process and values having disciplined and objective partners who deliver advice, based solely on an intimate understanding of one's needs, objectives, and goals.

He brings over 20 years of successful experience in driving business as a client centered advisor across multiple industries. During his career in Financial Services, he has worked as a Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance Broker for ADP, and as a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
Chintan is a man of many diverse talents! In his spare time, you can catch him on the basketball or tennis court, on the other side of a chess board, sitting with an instrument in hand, singing or working on his latest musical composition. Born in New Jersey and raised in the tri-state area (NJ, PA, and NY), Chintan settled in the Charlotte area after living for eight years in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Chintan is a family man who proudly boasts about being a good father to daughter, Ishwari and son, Omkar. He shared that his role models are his parents who have been married for 50 years and have “instilled in us the values of family, hard work, spirituality, generosity and willingness to help others. As immigrants from India, “…with humble means and big dreams…” they instilled a pride in him for the values and opportunities in America, whilst teaching him the value of retaining the important aspects of his Indian heritage.
