Jackson Beckman joined Ashford Advisors in 2024, as the newest member of the Hudnall Wealth team, working with seasoned advisor, Matt Hudnall. The Hudnall team specializes in working with business owners in the areas of business continuation, succession planning, key employee retention, retirement strategies and tax strategies. Additionally, the team has a passion for working with physicians and medical professionals.
Jackson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University. This LSU Tiger was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana where he and his German shorthair pointer, Cudi, reside. After graduating from LSU in May of 2024, Jackson completed an internship, where he was hands on learning to build houses before pursuing a career in the finance industry.
He was drawn to the financial service industry because he saw an opportunity to help people improve their lives. He is excited about being able to guide clients through their financial challenges and help them work towards a better financial future.
He grew up playing golf and really enjoyed duck hunting. Golf taught him discipline and patience, which he applies to his work life daily, while duck hunting provided occasion to spend time outdoors and connect with family and friends. Both taught him valuable lessons about perseverance and making the most of every opportunity.
Jackson’s greatest influence in his life is his parents who he says have “…taught me the value of hard work, resilience, and the importance of always striving to be better. Their dedication and love have been a huge source of inspiration for me, and I’m incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done.” The family loves to spend time together. Some of their favorite times together are traveling to explore new cultures or taking trips to “connect with nature.” Jackson enjoys music and plays the guitar and especially, taking backpacking in Italy.
