Andrew Cargill brings more than two decades of executive leadership, operational strategy, and corporate finance experience to his role as a Financial Representative with Ashford Advisors. His career is defined by a passion for process optimization, strategic planning, and relationship building—skills that now serve as the foundation for his work in financial services.
Originally drawn to finance during his MBA at Georgia Institute of Technology, Andrew discovered a deep interest in investing, personal finance, and long-term wealth planning. This shift in focus led him to transition from a highly successful corporate career into financial advising, where he now empowers individuals and families to take control of their financial futures.
Andrew’s academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Management with a Minor in Marketing from Kennesaw State University and an MBA with concentrations in Strategy, Finance, and Entrepreneurship from Georgia Tech. He also holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and an Entrepreneurship Certificate from Georgia Tech.
Throughout his career, Andrew has held key leadership roles, including Vice President of Operations at MG Management (2010–2024), Founder of ACE-FCE LLC, and Co-Founder of CAC-Tech LLC. He has successfully led initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring in the wake of COVID-19, and regulatory compliance in areas such as the FLSA and ACA. His work in software development and operational transformation has delivered measurable improvements across multiple organizations.
Beyond his professional life, Andrew is a dedicated husband to Christian and proud father of six: Spencer, Alexis, Drew, Katherine, Ashlynn, and Baden as well as their rescue pup – Rocket. A native of Savannah and raised in Waycross, Georgia, he has called Johns Creek home for the past eight years. Andrew is also a National Champion Powerlifter and, along with his children Drew and Katherine, co-hosts regional strength festivals and powerlifting competitions through Valhalla Performance—a venture started by Drew in high school. The trio also serve as national referees, with Drew acting as an assistant coach for the USA National Powerlifting Team. Ashlynn and Baden are active in competitive cheerleading, with Ashlynn competing at the elite Worlds level.
