Throughout his life Rich has enjoyed taking things apart in order to see how they worked. Applying this mindset throughout his professional career, Rich has used this as a framework for success. As a financial planner, Rich takes the various components of a client’s financial picture and creates a solution designed to achieve a client’s unique desires and goals.

Prior to Oregon Pacific Financial Advisors, Rich spent the 15 years working in a variety of marketing and project management positions for both large multinational and small start-up corporations. Within each position, Rich tackled the challenges and obstacles as an opportunity to learn from and apply to the next challenge.

Married for over 28 years, Rich and his wife DeeAnn moved from Southern California with a strong desire to raise their three boys in a community that shares similar values. Rich has volunteered his time with a variety of organizations such as Providence Community Health Foundation, Kid-Time!, Rotary International and the Tournament of Roses. He is also the past President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Rogue Valley Chapter.

Rich graduated with his MBA from Azusa Pacific University in 1999 and continues his life-long education. In 2012 he completed the Charted Retirement Planning Counselor or CRPC® Professional Designation Program from The College for Financial Planning. Graduates of the CRPC Program complete a specialized course that covers key issues that occur throughout all phases of retirement planning. The CRPC curriculum emphasizes the importance of understanding each client’s individual financial situation, and then analyzing his or her related needs
