Michael Safris, CPA

From financial consulting for mergers and acquisitions to tax planning for entrepreneurs and high net worth families, Michael Safris has spent his professional career immersed in the world of closely held businesses.

In contrast to larger or publicly traded organizations, Safris enjoys working with closely held businesses because “you’re able to see your advice achieve results on a near-daily basis,” he says.

Safris’ experience spans from a “Big Eight” public accounting firm to serving as a partner and owner of a successful NJ-based CPA practice, consulting in all areas of business, including real estate and construction.

A West Orange resident, Safris is a member of the Tax Division of the American Institute of CPAs. He is also a long-time trustee for the Police Unity Tour, an organization that raises funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum in Washington, D.C. Safris is active in UJA of Metrowest, serving as a member of the P2G steering committee, a joint project of U.S. and Israel communities.
