After a brief time as an accountant in the corporate world, I followed my passion and my entrepreneurial spirit and started my CPA practice in Denver, Colorado. In 1986, I expanded my practice to include wealth management. I take great satisfaction in guiding my clients through complicated tax issues and navigating volatile markets while delivering quality results. I am excited to join the TimeWise Financial team. Alan Piehl, originally from Chicago, Illinois, studied business at the University of Denver. After graduation, in 1970, Alan made Denver his home. Alan has been married to Susie for 36 years. They have 4 children - Jennifer, Jeff, Nicholas, and Caroline. He has been the President of “Alan R. Piehl CPA PC” since 1976 and the owner of “Alan Piehl Financial Services” since 1986.
As parents of student-athletes, Alan and Susie spent many years cheering at swim meets and baseball games. His daughter, Caroline, also joined TimeWise Financial as a partner and advisor. On the weekends, you can find Alan and Susie on the fairways of their local golf club.
