Matt was born and raised in the Willmar area before attending Bethel University in St. Paul. Matt has a Bachelor's degree as well as a Master of Arts in Psychology. After graduation, he worked as a therapist for five years in Willmar.
"I have a strong passion for helping people solve problems and better themselves. Over the years I was able to see the true impact finances have on the overall health of my clients. I realized that I wanted to focus more on helping people in my community solve problems they may face regarding their finances and retirement,” explained Hoekstra .
Matt and his wife, Brianna, live in Prinsburg with their son, Parker, and twin daughters, Hazle and Poppy.
He holds a Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (NASAA-Uniform Combined State Law Exam) license. He also holds a Life, Health, and Long Term Care Insurance License.
