A journey from devastating injury to the Paralympic podium – Episode 39

May 07, 2018

“Monster” Mike Schultz was injured during a snocross race in 2008 that led to the amputation of his left leg above the knee. To most pro athletes, this would have been a career-ending event, but not to Mike. Within months, not only was he engineering his own prosthetic, Mike was racing and competing at a high level. Most recently, Schultz won gold (snowboard-cross) and silver (banked slalom) medals in the PyeonyChang 2018 Paralympic Winter Games for Team USA. In this podcast, Mike talks about his perspective on life and purpose before and after his injury. For more information go to www.monstermikeschultz.com.
